Girl of Uttarakhand

This is something I keep on discussing with my parents and I would love to share with u all as well. I feel strongly about the women education in Uttarakhand. It is there in statistics but I am personally not able to find it when I visit my native place.Its sad to say that still the young girls are forced to get married at an age when they should actually be in schools and colleges. I think the mindset of our people is that its enough for a girl to complete her 12th class as she just have to do the household work for the rest of her life...With due respect to all my uttarakhandi people...its time to think beyond the already set principles!!
