Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Examination-2008 (UTUEE - 2008)
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun will be conducting State Entrance Examination - 2008
(UTUEE-2008) on June 8, 2008 for admission to degree courses in B. Pharmacy, BHMCT, B. Pharmacy II year/B.
Tech. II year and Post Graduate course in MCA of State Govt., Govt. aided and Private unaided institutions
affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and MCA and B. Pharma for HNB Garhwal University and B.
Pharma for Kumaon University for academic session 2008-09.
Venue of Examination : At nine places in Uttarakhand – Almora, Dehradun, Haldwani, Nainital, Pauri,
Pithoragarh, Roorkee, Rudrapur, Uttarkashi and in addition at Delhi, and Lucknow.
Eligibility: 1. Candidates must have passed Intermediate examination of Uttarakhand Board or 10+2 level
examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University for admission to 1st year of B. Pharmacy as per
subjects prescribed by AICTE. 2. Candidates must have passed 3 year degree course with Mathematics as one
subject at 10+2 level for admission to 1st year of MCA. 3. The candidates must have passed Diploma course,
recognized by the Board of Technical Education, Uttarakhand with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for
admission to 2nd year of B.Tech/B.Pharmacy courses. 4. The candidates must have passed B.Sc. with at least 60%
marks (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) for 2nd year of B. Tech. courses. 5. The candidates appearing in
qualifying examination are eligible to appear in UTUEE-2008 subject to the condition that they will fulfill the
eligibility criteria at the time of counseling. 6.The details of admissions for NRI and Kashmiri migrants will be
published later, according to the norms as laid down by the Govt. of Uttarakhand/AICTE.
